Muse Behavior is the personality, influences, perspective, and vision boards behind each garment and the collection that tells its story. We are bringing together 5 unique designers to introduce their newest collections on the Muse runway.
Think performance fashion over performative fashion. At a time when human creativity is being replaced, we give artists and audiences a chance to stay connected. Muse Behavior Runway will take place at the historic Crystal Ballroom in Portland, OR. The past performers and events make it a perfect venue to bring our collage of theater, fashion, and nostalgia together.

Introduce your next collection at the first-ever Muse Behavior Runway. Each designer can create 11-15 looks and a fashion performance to show at the iconic Crystal Ballroom PDX on March 13, 2027. We are looking for 5 designers total, and our applications will close once the lineup is full.

The Venue
The Crystal Ballroom
The coolest blend of past meets present. Crystal Ballroom is a muse in its own right as Portland's most historic concert venue. The ballroom features floor-to-ceiling windows, historic chandeliers, massive paintings, and a stage that has hosted artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Tina Turner, Pink Floyd, and, more recently, Zara Larsson, Queen Herby, The Pretty Reckless, and many more.
Our audience can seat 300+ guests who will line the runway for a look inside each designer’s collection story. Our pre-show will have designer-themed cocktails, interactive experiences, entertainment, and more. A Mezzanine level will be VIP-access only, with its own bar above the ballroom.

Our official submission forms for models, makeup artists, photographers, backstage roles, and more will launch Nov. 1, 2026. If you submitted our Early Interest Form, we've already saved your information.
Models
We will be holding a closed casting call. Submissions will be open to everyone, and we will send invitations based on your submission information, experience, and examples of a strong runway presence.We are currently creating our pre-selected models list and will contact those models by Nov. 1, 2026. Designers will receive the preselected model list before the casting call. Casting will then focus on finding models for the remaining looks.

We are looking for volunteers who are interested in being part of the behind-the-scenes and front-of-house. We want volunteers to feel they’re a part of something that interest them, so our volunteer application includes a space for you to express your interests to better help us assign volunteers.

Be a part of the first Muse Behavior Runway and help our designers get the coverage they deserve. You'll meet 5 designers and see the debut of their newest collection. The show will be visually interesting, provide strong context for the collections, and offer an immersive fashion experience for the audience.
